With 20 years of design experience in Los Angeles and New York City, Don Langworthy specializes in residential and commercial interior design. Don is known for creating unique and individual environments, often featuring his own custom furniture and cabinetry designs.

While a senior designer with Adam D. Tihany International in New York, Don's commercial projects included Spago Restaurant, Las Vegas; Bice Ristorante, Washington D.C. and San Diego; and Cohen Brothers Reality Corporate Offices, New York City. Since opening his own design studio in Los Angeles in 1993, Don has worked almost exclusively on residential projects, including homes throughout California, Colorado and Canada.

Don develops close working relationships with his clients, resulting in the development of true creative partnerships. He tailors his work to suit his clients' needs, style and budget, resulting in the scope of his projects covering a wide range. New construction projects begin with architectural concept design and planning, continue through the construction phase with on-site supervision and cabinetry design, to complete furniture specification, ordering and installation. Other projects involve the remodeling of existing buildings or adding rooms. Still other spaces are transformed simply with new furnishings, accessories, and art.

Recent projects illustrate this range, including:
  • Original floor plan and elevations for a 7,000 sq. foot home, including selection of  construction and finish materials, custom cabinetry and bathroom designs, and comprehensive designs for furnishings (Breckinridge, Colorado);
  • Bathroom and kitchen remodel, fireplace wall redesign, and specialized stereo cabinet with concealed table for flexible use dining area for a two-bedroom condominium (Beaver Creek, Colorado);
